Christos Stefanis is a project manager at Foodscale Hub Greece. He holds a PhD in Agricultural Development from the Democritus University of Thrace, a MSc in Food Science and Technology from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece) and a MSc in Food, Nutrition and Microbiome from Medical School in the Democritus University of Thrace, with 11 years of research experience in agricultural development, food science, hygiene and environmental protection. He has over 25 publications in related journals and conference proceedings. Also, he has been involved in several national and EU research projects. He has participated in several tasks during his research activities at Wageningen University and KU Leuven and in the Risk and Resilience Assessment Centre (DUTH-Greece), where he conducted a public health assessment of watery ecosystems of the region of Thrace.
