Day 1, deals with bridging the gap between decision-makers and bottom-up demands in Urban Farming and have practical cases on inclusive governance and multi-stakeholder engagement;
Grigoris Chatzikostas VP for BizDev at Foodscale Hub will be discussing about the role Living Labs as tools for capacity building in urban farming.
Day 2 deals with land and space scarcity in cities and how vertical hydroponics, rooftop greenhouses and aquaponic technologies can boost efficiency in urban food production.
The event have guest speakers from Spain, The Netherlands, UK, Portugal and Greece as well as from DG AGRI, ERIAFF and MMFN networks.
