Enhancing the quality of education for agripreneurs in the Hungarian-Serbian border area

E NAG aims to revolutionise entrepreneurship education in agriculture for women in rural areas through a digital platform serving as a one-stop shop for training materials, industry links, mentorship, and coaching opportunities. The project is structured around four main outcomes: needs mapping and training approach design, development of learning resources, creation of a digital platform, and practical knowledge transfer. It emphasises a hybrid learning approach, combining on-site practical training and digital sessions. ENAG will organise interactive face-to-face boot camps and study visits to facilitate practical exchanges of successful practices in agribusiness. Post-training, a mentoring program will support the (self)employment of women in agribusiness. The project will foster networking among local communities and will be implemented over 18 months in Bács-Kiskun and Csongrád-Csanád Counties in Hungary and the Bačka region in Serbia, primarily targeting young women aged 15 to 29 and female entrepreneurs in agribusiness.

Our role in the project

Foodscale Hub (FSH) plays a crucial role in the ENAG Project by leveraging its extensive experience in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship within the food system. FSH will work on the development and implementation of specialised training programs and workshops, providing agripreneurs with cutting-edge knowledge and skills. Additionally, FSH will facilitate networking events and collaborative opportunities, promoting knowledge exchange and sustainable agricultural practices. Through its targeted support services, FSH will also empower women agripreneurs, ensuring they have the necessary resources to thrive in the agricultural sector.
