TATJANA KNEŽEVIĆ

Head of Exploitation

Tatjana Knežević works as the Head of Exploitation at Foodscale Hub. After graduating at the Faculty of Economics, she obtained her master’s degree in Project Management at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, Belgrade. She has a several years of experience in writing and managing EU-funded projects focused on ag-tech and food-tech industry. Her role in H2020 and Horizon Europe projects has been to provide business support to different profit and non-profit organizations developing innovative solutions in the scope of the projects. At Foodscale Hub, her duties include preparation of project proposals, conducting market research, building strong exploitation and multi-actor engagement strategies.

TAMARA TRNINIĆ GONDI

Head of Communications

Tamara Trninić-Gondi is Head of Communications at Foodscale Hub, with a background in marketing, journalism and tv production. She holds an MSc in Marketing from the University of Novi Sad and has 7 years of broadcast journalism experience at Radio-television of Vojvodina. She also has a 4-year experience in managing dissemination and communication activities for H2020 and Horizon Europe projects, as well as projects in arts, culture, and entertainment, particularly in film and music festivals. Her expertise includes website content, social media, marketing, media relations, events management, and video production. In 2023, she completed her second master’s program in Film and TV production from the Academy of Arts Novi Sad.

DUŠAN PEVAC

Head of Finance

Dušan Pevac is the Head of Finance at Foodscale Hub. He has experience working as an external accountant and payroll associate, working mostly with SMEs and entrepreneurs. Before that, he was an intern at NIS (Gazprom Neft), where he assisted senior financial analysts in cash flow calculations and preparing internal financial publications. Dušan got his bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, and Insurance and has completed his master’s thesis in Accounting and Audit.

PROF. MLADEN RADIŠIĆ

CEO

Prof. Mladen Radišić is a university professor in the area of Business and Finance, and he has the position of CEO at Foodscale Hub. Mladen has been holding various management positions and has participated in numerous EU-funded projects (CIP/COSME, FP7/H2020, etc.). He has previous experience in running large-scale projects and organization of international EU-funded business accelerator programs. These projects and programs have delivered more than 12 mEUR to more than 150 European SMEs and startups, covering sectors such as agrifood, ICT, manufacturing, logistics, health, finance, energy, and environment. His fields of interest are financial and small business management, international project management.

MAJA RADIŠIĆ

Head of Operations

Maja Radišić is a Head of Operations at Foodscale Hub. She obtained MSc degree at the University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Sciences. She has more than 15 years of experience in the business and research sector, along with experience in business acceleration for innovative start-ups and SMEs. During her career, she has been involved in numerous large-scale international projects, with a project portfolio of over 100M EUR (involved in project implementation and/or proposal preparation). Her main focus is mostly related to project management (project implementation and proposal writing); setting, conducting, and monitoring of the open calls; monitoring of the sub-projects & beneficiaries from the open calls; organization of promotional activities; contribution to the preparation of reports; organization of training sessions, etc.

DARKO MANDICH

Founder & President

Darko Mandich is an entrepreneur with experience launching ventures in the food and biotechnology industries both in Europe and the United States. Driven by his commitment to giving back to the community he started from, he founded Foodscale Hub. His vision is to make a positive impact on the future startup ecosystems that are creating solutions empowering the wellbeing of humankind and our planet. He is very passionate about bees, and his latest venture MeliBio is set to use science to produce honey without bees and remove the pressure of commercial beekeeping on wild and native bee species.
