Ioanna Dandelia is Head of Communications at the Thessaloniki office of Foodscale Hub. She is a Communication Strategist who studied Journalism at AUTH and holds a master’s degree in Journalism and New Technologies. She attended the IMEdD program in 2019, supported by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation. Fluent in English and French, she has managed communication strategies for various organizations. As the Head Organizer of TEDxUniversityofMacedonia, she engages with energetic young minds. With a background in journalism and publishing, Ioanna has overseen books and editions as the former Director of the Publishing House at the University of Macedonia. After pursuing her second master's degree focused on Art and its role in the Public Sphere, she is a PhD candidate addressing gender discrimination in Balkan art at the University of Macedonia. Additionally, she serves as a board member for the Organization of Trans-Balkan Cooperation for Women of UNESCO, advocating for women, culture, and the environment. Her involvement with the Non-profit Cigaret Cycle, where she acts as a communications manager, earned the organization a gold award for environmental contributions and a bronze distinction at Circular Economy awards. Ioanna is also a member of the Board of Marketing Club Greece, connecting with Marketing Executives and Business Managers nationwide.
